Individual Case Study
In 2009, Pinpoint was engaged by organisation to work with a senior manager who was struggling with their role. This was a senior role in a busy high profile national organisation and the need for support was driven by the manager with the support of HR. Working through their career progression and using the profiling, the initial coaching enabled the manager not to fixate on the existing role but to look at the bigger career picture. Within the confidence of the coaching, the solution developed was to reposition themselves in a different role that suited their talents. This is not easy thing for an individual to propose in an organisation and the coaching process helped to prepare them for the reaction and the process. The organisation retained a key person and the manager rediscovered a satisfying role.
